The price of getting light from a candle is its burning

Everything has a price, and the higher the quality of something, the greater its price, and no one will get anything unless he is willing to pay for it. Whoever wants a loaf of bread must pay an amount equal to its value in money, and whoever wants to buy a house to live in must pay money equivalent to the value of that house.

As for those who want happiness, they must pay what is equal to the value of that, and those who want freedom must give up their comfort as a price to obtain it.

Thus, everything has its price, and no one will have a right except to the extent of his duty, and he will not get anything unless he gives something in exchange for it. Parallel to it, and as the candle disposes of its body as much as it gives of illumination to what is around it.

The question here is: What is the price of love?

Someone might say: The price of love is love, for your love for your brother is the price for his love for you, but I believe that this is not the price of love, because there is no burning in it, for your love for your brother does not cost you anything.

So what is the price of love?

The price is pain, so as much as you love, you must bear the pain of separation, for this is the price we pay for our love for someone, and if we did not love and rejoice together, we would not know the pain of separation and the sadness of absence.

It is not enough to love someone in your heart, rather you must translate this love in the form of words, sayings, actions, and attitudes, that is, in the form of a message that you send to the one you love, or a gift you offer to him, or a service you perform for him, or in any other form.

Love is like a seed that if it is not placed in the ground and is not irrigated with water, it will not grow, and if it grows, it needs constant care, otherwise it will die... Whoever loves someone must translate his love into actions, words, writings and attitudes.

Let others feel your love for them as you do, and declare your love in front of people, for love is like a flower that cannot live in darkness because it needs light, and whoever hides his love is truly condemned to death.

He who loves must take the initiative to show his feelings and reveal his emotions, and at least he must inform the other party of his love for him.

Here is an important observation, which is: True love comes as a gift, not as a reward. He who loves does not return the favor of others, but rather he is the owner of the favor. He does not give his love at the request of others, but gives it from the beginning.

It is easy for an individual to disparage, criticize, and mention the disadvantages of others. But it is difficult to overlook, forgive, and praise. Indeed, the seed of love needs watering and care, in order for it to bloom and become a bud, then a tree with which people seek shade and bear fruit every now and then.
