In some Eastern traditions, the teacher or "man of wisdom" is referred to as the mentor or spiritual teacher. He is the person you can turn to for advice and evidence.
And if you have a spiritual mentor or mentor in your life - a coach, counselor, or even just a friend - how lucky you are, because it is really wonderful to have someone in your life to give you a helping hand. But what if there is no such person in your life? Or what if your mentor isn't there when you need him most?
What if you could become your own mentor?

The experience you have is just as important as the experience of others, and the faster you learn to trust yourself, the more positive you will feel about yourself and the greater your level of control over your life.
