Parents rule over their children before puberty, but duty calls them to respect their children from the age of fifteen, by approaching them and befriending them. Respecting and appreciating the boy is considered, from the point of view of Islam, among the duties imposed on parents and all members of society.
The boy who enjoys the appreciation of his parents, and participates in settling family problems and his opinion, and the boy whose father deals with him as if he is a close friend who has full respect and appreciation for him, and the boy who feels in the midst of his family and society that he has a personality that is respected like adults, all of these are examples of boys They are keen to avoid falling into vice, and seek to be worthy of this respect and appreciation, so they monitor their actions and behavior and avoid everything that would distort their personality.
As for the boy who did not enjoy the respect and appreciation of his parents, and did not get his place in society, then he feels in his heart degradation, despicableness, pain and bitterness, and he seeks by various means to show himself and prove his personality in the family and society. He finds himself forced to take illegal paths to achieve his aspirations.
The presence of such a boy disturbs the stability of the family and constitutes a danger to it and to the entire society, because he is liable to deviate, fall, and commit crimes whose consequences cannot be avoided.
