The happiest children are those who live in a quiet family atmosphere under the shadow of two parents who communicate calmly and are balanced, without extreme emotions, far from extreme nervousness and convulsive manifestations. A child who grows up in a tense family, his nerves become tense, and he suffers from anxiety from the early stages of his life, and this accompanies him in the various stages of his life. Many of these are the childhood problems caused by these troubled families to their children, and harm their psychological state.
The calm and balanced parents are the ones who gently rebuke the child when he makes a mistake, forgive him if he apologizes, and encourage him if he confesses his guilt. They do not complain about their misfortune and their concerns in front of the children, so that they do not burden them with the psychological burdens prematurely. This constitutes futility for the child, which he cannot bear with his mental, social and cognitive capabilities.
It is the habit of nervous parents to complain about their children, so they talk a lot about the child’s problems (lack of eating, disorder, school delay, or stubbornness), so that their favorite topic becomes defamation of their children, and the strange thing is that the child tends to maintain this position and continues with his problems, and often the child would secretly listen the conversation, especially if the subject is about him personally, (whenever the child feels the pressure in his mother, and whenever he sees her confused, anxious, telling his news to her friends and relatives, the instinct of stubbornness is rooted in him).
The treatment in this case is not to talk about his illness, or about his problems in his presence. It has also been proven that, (caring for the child and expressing concern for him turns into the opposite if he exceeds his limits, so we have to take a middle position.
