The specialist points out that it is not recommended to leave the house when it is very hot, and that the best time for roaming is until 10 am and the maximum until 12 noon. Or in the evening after four o'clock, and the best after six o'clock. This means that those who suffer from cardiovascular diseases must be present during hot times in a place with good ventilation, preferably with an air conditioner.

She says: "A sufficient amount of water should be drunk even if a person suffers from heart failure, by 40-60 milliliters per kilogram of body weight. Because the body loses a large amount of fluid in cases of hyperhidrosis, that is, it loses a large proportion of the necessary potassium and magnesium." For the heart to work normally, and to compensate for the lack of fluids, it is preferable to drink pure, cooled water, juices, or dairy products.

At the same time, the specialist warns against drinking coffee and alcohol in hot weather. It also advises to reduce smoking to a minimum, and it is best to quit this bad habit.

The doctor stresses the need to pay attention to nutrition, as it is better to refrain from eating fried and fatty foods, and to eat more fruits, vegetables and non-fat fish.

She says: "It is recommended to wear light, light-colored clothes made of natural fabrics with a head cover. And to reduce as much physical activity as possible, and not to work with the head tilted down, because this may cause an increase in pressure."

The specialist warns everyone who suffers from heart diseases against taking a contrast shower (hot-cold), because it may cause spasms in the blood vessels, and thus myocardial infarction.

"It is important to continue taking the medications prescribed by the doctor and to adhere to all of his advice and directions," she says.
