Of course, it is easy to get caught up in the struggles and worries of adolescence. You may look at your son, who is almost an adult, and hear the clock ticking in the background. • Always be present. You will be surprised how many times your son will turn to talk to you if you are there by his side. You can consider setting up a regular lunch date or setting aside a specific time to play golf or practice any other hobby together.
• Appreciate your son’s positive qualities. Even the most confused teenagers have strengths; you just have to look carefully to discover it. Make sure your son knows what you like about him, as well as what worries you.
There is a lot to love about your teenager. Invest time in yourself and your relationships with adults so that you can maintain your ability to see things according to their importance and reality. After that, do your best to relax, focus on teaching him character-building skills, and enjoy your time with him whenever you can.
