The stage of youth is considered one of the best springs of life, and through it many seeds of good talents are planted and acquired, and good qualities are developed. Investing in this stage means obtaining a balance of skills and abilities that make the individual a successful and competent person in the fields of life and an effective element in society who is accepted in professional and social circles. But this does not happen easily. Rather, there are three obstacles that one must beware of, which are: (laziness, dependency, and expectation).
Laziness means giving priority to rest, enjoyment, and satisfying psychological desires, while putting learning, work, and struggle in second place.
As for dependence: it is one of the negatives and consequences of childhood. Most young people carry the mind of childhood and adolescence with them into the advanced stages of their lives, placing the burden of responsibility on their parents. We also do not find them active in social activities.
As for expectation: some people are accustomed to finding their food ready and their clothes clean; Just to eat and dress up, They are dependent on others, and expects to find everything ready, such as daily allowance, their schedule, their daily responsibilities, their waking up times, and solving their problems. All of that is expected to be done by others, and without them they do not rely on themselves. They expect that a job will knock on their door, that marriage and all its belongings will reach them via the mobile phone, and that fame and social and administrative positions await their arrival!!
These afflictions waste the spring of life, and leave the individual devoid of skills, and then regret is of no use...so beware of them.
