She asks:

I feel confused when I'm with my college classmates; some of them see relationships with males as something that indicates sophistication and openness, and even indicates strength of character!! While I am a girl who grew up in a conservative environment that does not allow mixing with males, and I deal with them within the limits set for me by Islam and its high values?

This realistic question comes to the mind of many good girls, especially at the university stage, where mixing is unfortunately common, and therefore we recommend these useful tips for them:

First: It is necessary to stop at the limits of scientific and intellectual exchange with males, on the condition of adhering to that without encroaching on anything else. This does not mean that the way of dealing should be devoid of politeness, respect, and flexibility in a way that preserves your purity and chastity.

Second: Never accept the idea of romantic relationships, and if some of them try to open this door, one of you should strongly deter him, and ask him to go to her family and propose to her according to the way of society, its customs, and its religious controls. Otherwise, he is a cunning fox, no matter how much he pretends to be affectionate and makes sweet promises to you!

Third: Be careful of girls whose reputation has been tainted, for they are Satan’s ropes that drag pure and chaste women into the swamp of vice and illicit relationships that make their character a question mark that harms their conduct. So beware of joining their suspicious gatherings and being drawn in.

Fourth: Work to create purposeful gatherings and groups to exchange religious, moral, and doctrinal opinions and ideas, and define roles for your missionaries, so that they can play an effective role in the face of any challenges that are inconsistent with religious and moral culture, and stand against any movement that wants to offend the values of chastity and modesty through intellectual and moral awareness activities.

Fifth: The necessity of educating oneself with sound and correct ideas that are consistent with religion and morals, regarding emotional life, learning about the concepts of marital life, identifying the noble goals of marriage, and preparing for this project in a conscious and more mature way.
