In order to be a successful negotiator capable of managing the dialogue, you must have some basic negotiation skills, including:
First: Dealing positively with individuals during negotiations, and avoiding arousing their negative psychological side.
Second: Avoid turning around issues that need precise clarification.
Third: Stay away from extremism and fanaticism throughout the stages of negotiation.
Fourth: Focus during negotiations on issues and not on individuals.
Fifth: Completely avoid interrupting the other party during negotiations, and reserve your full and permanent right to continuous comment if necessary.
Sixth: Avoid self-indulgence. Rather, negotiation must be in accordance with what the public interest dictates, far from personal whims and selfishness.
Seventh: The ability to use silence at certain times when silence is more expressive than any words that can be said.
