If parents stay away from communicating with the child, and do not open windows for dialogue with him regarding his daily problems - that is, what is related to school or home - this leads to neglecting him, and thus his behavior shows stubbornness, rebellion and quarrelsomeness.
What are the solutions that should be followed so that neglect does not lead to the emergence of negative effects resulting from that? :-
First: Approach your child, listen to what he says, and take care of his speech; because if you do not listen to what he says, he will feel that you do not care about him and neglect his existence, and he interprets this as not loving him.
Second: Excessive monitoring of the child and interference in his affairs is a form of restricting him, which leads to him feeling insecure, so it is necessary to make room for him and give him freedom in expression, play and relationships.
Third: Screaming does not always solve his troublemaking and rebellion, so do not resort to the usual and easy ways to end his stubbornness and troublemaking by screaming and hitting, which makes him more stubborn, and he may turn into a harsh and cruel person in the future.
Fourth: Respect and appreciation are a way to build an obedient person; gentleness in dealing always gives positive results. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and his family, said: “Kindness is not placed on anything except that it adorns it, and rags are not placed on anything except that it disfigures it.”
Fifth: Flexibility and patience in dealing with the behavior of a child who has been neglected, as the child often suffers from behavioral changes, psychological disturbance, depression and anxiety.
