Use your job in a positive way

At its best, work gives us a sense of purpose and enhances our appreciation for our lives outside of the workplace. So appreciate everything your job gives you, and it will help you appreciate what really matters.

Wisconsin has a new program that provides all unemployed people with job opportunities. Do you know what people who get a job love most when they are rehired? It’s not the money, it’s the self-esteem. They see a job as an opportunity to demonstrate their responsibility, their abilities, and their self-reliance, and they find that work makes things clear not only to others, but to themselves. Use your job not as a judgment or punishment, but as an opportunity to brag, and then show yourself what you can do.

A study of more than 1,500 people showed that working outside the home increases life satisfaction by 5% and contributes to a sense of equality in the family.
