The death of the father or his martyrdom is considered a calamity for the child, and sometimes it gives rise to a sense of guilt, so the child thinks that his disobedience to his father is the reason for this catastrophe, and thus turmoil will overwhelm his being, and this in turn will make him consider himself responsible for what happened. His death is a result of that fleeting wish, and he feels responsible for that, and sometimes he may think that the death of the father is a punishment for his bad actions, and in that case he will be overcome with a feeling of remorse.
The severity of the trauma for the girl is much more than for the boy, and therefore her feeling of sadness is greater, but because of her great attachment to the mother, her feeling of loneliness is less than that of the boy, and as for the boys, they will feel the harsh and painful loneliness.
The martyrdom of the father, who is considered an example and a guide in the family, has a stronger effect on males in this regard, and thus the males will be affected by this more, and most of the boys who have lost their balance and have become of pathological behavior to the extent that some of them lack values, ideals, magnanimity and boldness, while the girls will lose their sense of attachment, and they will feel risk to their life security.
