Participation of children in household matters is joyful and an important means for the development of the child’s personality and makes him feel responsible, and in order to achieve this goal:
* At home, roles must be distributed to each person according to his ability and energy, and all energies must be utilized.
* Parents must not monopolize all work at home, and they must leave the opportunity for their children to do something. They must also leave the freedom to choose work open to their children and allow them to express their opinions freely, correct the wrong opinion that the children may put forward, and benefit from the ideas. Good things that the children may suggest in order to develop the home.
* Excessive freedom for children at home may create a state of tyranny in their opinions, so this issue must be taken into account and a spirit of cooperation, respect for other opinions, collective life, and responsibility must be spread among the members of the same household.
* It is better for parents to benefit from the opinions and ideas of children and young people in implementing family programs and organizing household affairs so that the children feel that they have a special status in the hearts of their parents and that they are worthy of performing useful works.
