There are moral rights for the wife in addition to her material rights, and the husband must strive to provide them in order to live with his wife in love, harmony, appreciation and respect.
Among the moral rights of the wife are:
First - Honoring her: There is no doubt that whoever knows the value of his wife, and knows that she is a blessing from Allah, will honor her, by appreciating her and her feelings... and honor is appreciation.
Secondly - Kindness: It is the opposite of violence, that is, he is gentle with her and does not harm her or oppress her.
Third - Mercy: The wife is a human being and by nature needs mercy. One of her rights over the husband is to have mercy on her and be kind to her, and this is what reflects positively on the husband’s life.
Fourth - Taking into account her feelings: by respecting her and appreciating her feelings, and dealing with her in a beautiful manner and with a kind, polite, and loving word. A woman loves to hear a word of love, and she loves to hear kind words.
Fifth - Beautification: It is also her right upon the husband. It is appropriate for the husband to beautify and groom himself for his wife.
Sixth - Forgiveness and pardon: A woman is a human being, and she may make mistakes, so it is among her rights that you must pardon and forgive her, while warning her and containing her in an appropriate manner.
