Every parent has their own unique way of raising their children, but their ultimate goal is the same, to make their children independent and self-reliant. Here are some tips to help you achieve this goal:
First: Provide plenty of time, space and tools to play simple games. Plastic toys are cheap, while clay, paper, water and pottery are the best toys, as they give the child complete freedom to do whatever he wants or imagines.
Second: Create a kind of healthy boredom. Children are used to occupying or entertaining themselves by playing on the computer or video, or practicing scheduled educational activities; So it will take a little time for the child to switch to the games he creates himself. You may need to resist the phrase (I am bored) for a while until the child starts to take the initiative to make some games himself.
Third: Play is beneficial in itself. Play is the way that makes the child understand the world around him, get rid of his anxiety, overcome his fears, and learn to communicate with others. Play is the source of all creativity and discovery.
Fourth: Stop watching the evening news. Do not leave the TV on in the house. Just choose some programs and turn the TV on to watch them and then turn it off again. Allow your children to watch TV for only one hour a day, and ask them to choose the material to watch.
Fifth: Evaluate your life and your life habits as a whole. Do you really love where you live, the way you live, and the work you do? Are there alternatives that can make your life happier and simpler while still being exciting and rich? We may all be living in a world in which You need to slow down, and children will give you a good reason for doing so.
