First: Agree with him in advance on a specific time to review the lessons and read after he arrives from school.
Second: Allocate a corner of his room or at home for studying and drawing.
Third: Provide an atmosphere of calm and tranquility at home during the study time, and refrain from turning on the TV, radio, or computer that distracts him from the lessons.
Fourth: Check on him every half hour to make sure that he is completing his homework seriously and with focus, and is not distracted from it by playing.
Fifth: Bring him a hot drink or a plate of fruit or sweets when he sits at the study table for a long time.
Sixth: Strengthen his resolve with words of encouragement that urge him to work hard and persevere.
Seventh: Make sure that he has completed his homework in the best possible way, and let him recite to you what he has to memorize.
Eighth: Ask him to pack his books, prepare his school bag, and arrange the study table immediately after he finishes the lesson.
Ninth: Avoid shouting at him or threatening him, as the student rarely comprehends his lesson in a stressful and tense atmosphere.
Tenth: Allocate him a weekly allowance that you allow him to spend as he pleases, provided that you first buy from it all the school supplies he loses, and you will notice that his keenness not to lose his things will increase significantly, and he will gradually get used to bearing responsibility.
